2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic- Shakopee, MN
Doherty Career Solutions has teamed with a leading production facility to hire a Maintenance Mechanic. This person will install, maintain and repair industrial plant equipment. Ideal candidate will come from manufacturing/production plant, and not facilities or apartment maintenance.
Direct Hire opportunity
2nd Shift- 2:30-11pm
3rd Shift- 10:45pm-7am
Duties:
Provide support to Maintenance Supervisor and other shift leaders
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety checks, report any concerns
Perform equipment repairs when required, answer line calls to solve any issues
Follow safety procedures and policies, wear necessary equipment, and follow lockout procedure
Make regular visual inspections of equipment
Keep tool rooms and other areas clean and organized
Types of equipment include: mechanical, structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, air systems, power transmission, electrical, PLC, and motor controls.
Requirements:
5
years experience as Maintenance Mechanic in Production/Manufacturing facility
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong mechanical, electrical and/or machining background
PLC or printing experience a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
