Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Location: Shakopee, MN
Pay: $60K-$70K

Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer applies advanced knowledge of material and engineering theory and methods to design, integrate, and improve companywide manufacturing systems or related processes; and new process development. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for defining, troubleshooting and improving processes and equipment, improving operating efficiencies and increasing the company's quality standards.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned
oApplies continuous improvement methods to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness
oDevelop, engineer, and build custom tooling and fixtures
oResearch new equipment and processes for the introduction of new capabilities or for the improvement of existing ones
oDevelop creative and innovative approaches to new assembly processes
oCreate CAD files for water jet and laser cutting
oPerforms all other duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications:


MINIMUM
Qualifications:
oKnow the fundamental science and engineering principles relevant to materials (Foam, Rubber, Sponge, etc.)
oA solid foundation in engineering concepts is a vital requirement.
oStrong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
oStrong commitment to proper safety precautions in design and practice
oAbility to effectively prioritize tasks to be flexible and self-directing.
oAbility to work within strict deadlines with the capability to accurately and efficiently work on multiple projects

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
oBS degree in engineering relevant discipline plus 5
years in manufacturing engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
oCAD experience required.
oMicrosoft office suite required.
oERP experience preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership staff, and customers/vendors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position will be located in the corporate office environment but will spend at least 50% of the time in the manufacturing environment. The work area in the production environment includes exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery and varied temperatures. The noise level in the work area is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
