HR Training and Onboarding Assistant Job
Summary:
This position is primarily housed in Shakopee at our Corporate Headquarters & with occasional support in Otsego (up to 4 days a month mileage to be reimbursed).
This role is entirely in person.
The role prescreens and schedules Teams or in person panel interviews for all positions weekly for the HR Team ideally on a selected day of the week.
This position creates orientation, onboarding, training weekly schedules and implements them for all new staff, contractors, in any position or department- template is provided.
This position supports virtual orientation, training, and onboarding to all positions for new staff and facilitates HR Computer Lab use for current staff.
This position also creates training and onboarding schedules for virtual onboards for new staff that cannot onboard during normal business hours.
This role will be responsible to orient and onboard anywhere from 1-6 people at a time in the HR Computer Lab at corporate.

HR Training and Onboarding Assistant Job Duties/
Responsibilities:

The essential functions include the following:
Prescreen all applicants and schedule approved candidates for all positions to either in person or virtual panel interviews for HR Team.
Provided a 3 day to 1 week orientation and onboard/training schedules for all new staff across all departments and job roles from Northern & Southern campuses.
Ideally all staff will have orientation and onboard in Shakopee, but in some cases, onboarding may occur in Otsego, mileage to be reimbursed.
This could be a group of 1 to 6 new staff at a time.
Create, oversee, and implement all training and onboarding schedules for new hires ensure the schedules are accurate/flawless and comprehensive.
Template will be provided.
Manage the HR Lab schedule/Onboarding computer lab schedule for all current and new staff.
Let all current staff know via electronic communication on a weekly/monthly basis when the HR lab is available for them to come and complete annual training.
Utilize new hire information to create, implement and facilitate accurate orientation, training & onboarding schedules for all new staff in any and all departments, including contracted personnel - which aligns with compliance with 245G & 245I & 245F.
Ensure that all new staff and contracted personnel complete all their initial mandatory trainings as assigned during their orientation and onboarding training schedule - all trainings are given on a virtual platform, so nearly all orientations will have some identical components.
Facilitate a warm handoff to the appropriate department and personnel for new staff to train at the primary site in the afternoon when ready.
Ensure that all new staff are aware of what is needed at the time of orientation/onboarding.
Working in cooperation with all HR Department Personnel & Program Directors maintain the HR Lab Schedule and coordinate training time for all current staff and contracted personnel across all sites to complete mandatory annual trainings - if necessary, many staff do their own trainings at their own computers, but some will want to use the HR Lab When needed organize virtual training and onboarding schedules for staff/contractors that may work outside of normal business hours.
Foster a 'need to know basis' approach level of confidentiality in the hierarchy of HR team to always protect all employee's confidentiality.
Participate in all team meetings.
In constant communication with supervisors, leadership team, & directors to insure smooth flow of HR Training and Onboarding processes.
Create and complete professional development goals as needed.
Complete all annual training as needed.
Help foster a cohesive, kind, compassionate, service-oriented HR team All other duties as assigned.

GED or High School Diploma Understanding of the functions of HR and/or willingness to learn Healthcare compliance familiarity and/or willingness to learn Recruitment & Interviewing experience or willingness to learn Behavioral Health experience of willingness to learn HR Training and Onboarding Assistant Key Character Qualities:
