Event Coordinator
Overview:
$17 / hourThis is an entry level, hourly, seasonal position with our Sales team!Gain experience in various business tasks including sales outreach, event execution, and professional communication. You'll also Assist with planning, coordination, and on-site execution for catered events, youth programs, and performances in the park. Serve as a liaison between the client and catering team during events. Provide accurate product and program information including suggesting up-sell products. Provide outstanding guest service to clients and guests both on the phone and while in the park. Maintain a high level of accuracy for information given and data entry for reservations. Qualifications:
Experience in event planning and execution preferred but not required. Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to communicate via phone, email, and in person. Ability to remain patient, poised, and alert to cope with challenging/unique situations. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision or in a team environment as needed. Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office products. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate verbally to one or a group for sharing information and instruction.
