What to Expect As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a global software development team working on ERA Distributed Systems; our all-digital ERA distributed antenna system (DAS). The modular system supports today's cellular coverage and capacity demands and scale to deliver 5G. You'll be challenged to develop innovative solutions to introduce new functionality and product improvements through GUI programming in C++. Having expertise in board bring up, Linux / RT Kernel, device drivers and networking areas will be helpful as you will craft, code and test software applications that support overall system design for wireless communications systems. This position is remote, however preference will be given to candidates in Richardson, Texas, Forest, Virginia or Shakopee, Minnesota You will make an impact by Driving the Architecture into realization, validate and make decisions on hardware and software for Multi-Core or Multi-Processor, processing splits, performance, latency and scalability aspects. Using expertise in DPDK, Dockers, Containers, Micro Services, Orchestration Platforms, SRI-OV and Calico Plug-in' you'll define the system from hardware, software, interlayers from a communications and performance perspective solving critical customer and field issues using unique e tasked to find alternate approaches for critical customer or field issues. . year experience with Multi-core and Multi-Processor hardware architecture, interfaces and implementation. 1
year experience with Linux Kernel scheduling IP stack, boot loaders and memory management.
